Dedicated Adjuster Meeting
The Dedicated Adjuster (principals only) meeting was held April 28, 2010. The next meeting date will be scheduled for early 2011, date and location TBD.
Claims Examiner/Supervisor Meetings
The annual 2010 supervisor’s meeting was held February 25. This meeting is an invitation only event. The next meeting will be scheduled for early 2011, date and location TBD.
TWIA Adjuster Workshops
TWIA provided six adjuster workshops in 2010 prior to hurricane season. Workshops for 2011 will be scheduled prior to next hurricane season, dates and locations TBD.
Adjusters who are part of the Dedicated Adjuster Program (DAP) should attend a TWIA Adjuster Workshop annually. Adjusters who are not on the DAP should attend and pass the exam at least every two years in order to be certified to handle TWIA claims.
Adjuster Post-storm Orientation Meetings
These meetings will be scheduled as appropriate after significant storm events. The number of these meetings and locations TBD and will be communicated to the adjusting firm principals after the storm. Field adjusters will be required to attend at least one of these meetings.
Adjusting firms handling TWIA losses will be notified if a mobile office is deployed. TWIA claims supervisors will be made available to adjusters for additional instructions and guidance.
