Register for E-Quote

You must register with TWIA before using the free E-Quote system. Click here for a step-by-step guide to registering (this link will take you to the E-Quote Help page: www.twia.org/help.html).

How?

  1. Have your official TDI license handy when you register.
  2. ONLY THE LICENSED REGISTERED AGENT FOR YOUR COMPANY SHOULD REGISTER WITH E-QUOTE! Why?
  3. Click the "New User" link and follow instructions on screen.

For additional help, click the "Help" link on the main login page.

If you are using one login account for your whole office- DON'T. Take 30 seconds to create other users. Why? If you, or whomever controls the Primary Contact e-mail and password is unavailable (on vacation, stuck in traffic, hit by a bus, etc.), the rest of the office can still function. Only the licensed agent of record should be the Primary Contact.

How?

  1. Login as the Primary Contact, or other login with "Admin" priviliges.
  2. If you have Admin privileges, you will see a yellow menu item called "Admin".
  3. Click "Admin", and you'll see a drop-down menu item called "Create User". Click that, and enter the user information. Check the "Admin Privileges" box if you want this user to be able to create, modify and delete other users (except the Primary Contact).

Applications

You can create applications from the "Applications > New" menu, or by creating a Quote, and then clicking the "Convert to Application" button within the quote.

How?

  1. Choose "Applications > New" from the top blue and yellow menu bar.
  2. Select the type of application you want (Commercial, Residential, Mobile Home).
  3. Starting with "Application Summary", complete each tab (if applicable), from left to right. Use either the "Next" button, or just click the tabs.
  4. "Risk Item" tab is where you'll enter the actual insured property descriptions (either building or contents). After you enter and save a risk item, it will appear on that tab's summary grid.
  5. On the screens for "parent" items such as a dwelling or building, you can also enter "child" items, such as building contents, or attached structures.
  6. When all tabs are complete, and all risk items are entered, click the Application Summary tab to RATE the application (click the "Rate" button).
  7. If any errors appear, fix them on the appropriate tab, and RE-RATE the application.

Please note: All insurance-related questions should be directed to your agent; agents should contact their assigned TWIA underwriter.
