TWIA Board to Hold Workshop on Rates and Related Issues on April 21

The TWIA Board of Directors will hold a public workshop meeting via Zoom to study issues related to rates on Wednesday, April 21 at 1:00 pm.

No action on a rate filing will be taken at the workshop meeting. The Board may direct staff to gather additional information for Board consideration and action at a later time. The Board is expected to discuss a wide range of issues related to rates. Topics expected to be discussed at the workshop are listed on the agenda, available here.

The TWIA Board of Directors has invited the members of TWIA’s Actuarial & Underwriting Committee; the Association’s reinsurance broker, Guy Carpenter, LLC; and catastrophe modeling firms AIR and RMS to attend the meeting.
