Policy Moratorium in Effect Due to Hurricane Rafael

Hurricane Rafael is within the 80 degrees west longitude and 20 degrees north latitude, requiring TWIA to put a policy moratorium in effect. This means agents cannot quote or submit new business applications or make policy changes that increase coverage on existing policies or renewals.

The policy moratorium will be lifted when the General Manager determines that the coverage area is no longer threatened by the storm.

We will share updates as they become available. For more details about policy moratoriums, please visit our Moratoriums page

We are here to help. If you have questions, contact the Policy Services team at agentservices@twia.org or (800) 788-8247. Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
