TWIA Committee Discusses Performance Criteria for General Manager
Published on: April 13, 2026A committee of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association Board of Directors met on April 13 and discussed performance criteria for TWIA’s General Manager, the Association’s chief executive.
The General Manager Performance Criteria Committee was created by the TWIA Board at its most recent meeting on February 24.
The Committee received information on potential performance criteria from TWIA staff and discussed additional potential performance criteria. The Committee directed staff to develop refined performance criteria for further consideration based on the following components:
- Statutory Mission and Market Stability
- Financial Stewardship & Catastrophe Readiness
- Risk Management, Controls & Compliance
- Regulatory, Legislative & External Relations
- Operations, Leadership & Governance
The Committee will meet again at a date to be announced, with the goal of making a recommendation for the full TWIA Board to consider at its third-quarter meeting scheduled for August 4.
